These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GOT Journal application ("the App") provided by The Game of Trading Ltd. By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
GOT Journal is a tool for recording and analysing your own trades — a journal and statistics dashboard. It helps you keep records and understand your historical performance.
GOT Journal is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only. It does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the App is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or instrument.
Statistics, projections, and calculations in the App are based on the data you enter and on general mathematical models; they are estimates, not guarantees. Past performance does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your own trading and financial decisions.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the App.
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information.
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the applicable app store or payment provider. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel a subscription through your app store account. Refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policy. We may change prices with advance notice.
You agree not to misuse the App, including by using it unlawfully, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or interfering with its security or other users.
You own the data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the App to you (for example, to sync it across your devices). We do not claim ownership of your trading data.
The App itself, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by The Game of Trading Ltd and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App other than to use it as permitted here.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any statistic or calculation is accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Game of Trading Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the App.
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
